Muscat, September 10th, 2018.- A delegation from the Cuban Foreign Affairs Ministry, led by Ambassador H.E. Mr. Héctor Igarza Cabrera, Director for North Africa and Middle East Division, visited Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, as part of the usual bilateral exchanges of views between the two chanceries.
In the Omani Foreign Ministry headquarters, the Cuban delegation, also composed by Non-Resident Cuban Ambassador to the Sultanate, H.E. Mr. Orlando Requeijo Gual, held a fruitful exchange with H.E. Dr. Mohammed Awad Alhassan, Acting Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs; H.E. Dr. Hanan Ibrahim Khalfan Al Shihhi, Head of North American Department; and H.E. Mr. Omar Al-Kathiri, Director of Minister’s Office.
During the meetings it was ratified the mutual satisfaction for the level reached in the bilateral relations and they also explored ideas to consolidate and develop them in different issues of mutual interest.
As part of its visit, the Cuban Delegation was received at the Omani Health Ministry headquarters, by His Excellency the Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Obeid Al-Saee’di, who recalled with great pleasure his participation in the Cuba’s Health for All Convention, held in Havana last April, and urged for the establishment and development of cooperation bonds between the two countries in the health field.
