Cuban Consulate in Toronto participates in the opening of the Toronto Latin American Film Festival.

With the presence of members of the Latin American consular corps, this important event of the seventh art was inaugurated.  The evening included the presentation of feature and short films that celluloid lovers will be able to enjoy for three weekends during the month of October.

With a variety of options from different filmmakers, Cuba will have its space with the feature film "El Mayor" by director Rigoberto López.

The feature film by Argentine filmmakers related to the story of Cuban diplomats Jesús Cejas Arias and Crescencio Nicomedes Galañena Hernández, who were assassinated in Argentina during their mission in that country in the 1970s, will be screened virtually.
