Cuban culture present in Toronto, thanks to visual artist Michel Johnson.

The young Cuban visual artist Michel Johnson exhibited his work "The Ivory Tower" for a whole week at the Meridian Arts Centre in Toronto.


This important exhibition reflects all the talent, passion and dedication of the visual artist and dancers of the National Ballet of Cuba, being impossible to be indifferent to it.


The inauguration was held in the presence of Jose Angel Carret, important Cuban dancer and choreographer, the president of the Canadian-Cuban Friendship Association, Elizabeth Hill, and members of the Cuban Consulate General in this city.


For his valuable work with the dancers of the ballet, Michel Johnson was selected as a Member of the prestigious International Dance Council CID UNESCO Paris. His work will tour several cities in Canada in the coming months.
