Monrovia, September 28, 2021 - Marked again by the Covid-19 pandemic and the need to comply with the protective measures recommended by the health authorities, on September 28, all Cuba celebrates the 61st anniversary of the creation of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, the largest mass organization in the country.
A collective of the Cuban Embassy in Liberia, headed by Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera, recalled this significant date, promoting actions in defense of the Cuban revolution and demanding the lifting of the criminal blockade of the U.S. government against Cuba.
Founded on September 28, 1960, the CDRs concentrate their patriotic community work through the mobilization of the people in the tasks of defense of the Revolution and the social conquests, through direct work in each Cuban neighborhood.
