Vienna, October 29. In the framework of the activities for the Cuban Culture Day, a representation of the Cuban Embassy in Austria paid a courtesy visit to the House of the Vienna Music Association (Musikverein).
During the meeting, information was provided on the possibilities for Cuban musicians to perform in this hall. At the same time, the already consolidated relations between Austria and Cuba in this type of music were highlighted, such as the “Lyceum Mozartiano de la Habana” founded in 2009 together with the International Mozarteum Foundation of Salzburg.
The Musikverein is one of the most prestigious classical music concert halls in the world, where important musicians from all over the planet have performed. The renowned annual New Year's Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic is held here every year.
