The Cuban GAMMA Investment Center and the Institute of Marine Affairs of Trinidad and Tobago sign a Memorandum of Understanding.

Port of Spain, October 19, 2023. The Cuban GAMMA Research and Development Center and the Institute of Marine Affairs (IMA) of Trinidad and Tobago, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on October 12 that will promote the expansion of research capabilities in the areas of coastal engineering, hydraulic resource management and other related areas with the objective of facing the challenges currently faced by the marine and coastal regions of Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago. Dr. Ava Maxam, Director of the Institute of Marine Affairs and Pavel Morales Díaz, Director of Research and Development of GAMMA, signed the aforementioned instrument in the presence the Minister of Planning and Development, the Honorable Pennelope Beckles Robinson and the Ambassador of Cuba, Tania Diego Olite.

Dr. Ava Maxam, Director of the IMA, presented Pavel Morales Díaz from GAMMA, the latest publication of the Institute that includes an anthology that shows all the areas of work developed in more than 45 years of that institution.
