Cuban Head of Mission holds exchange with acting Liberian Foreign Minister.

Monrovia, August 1, 2022 - In the framework of the celebration of the 175th anniversary of Liberia's Independence, Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera held a meeting with Acting Foreign Minister Thelma E. Duncan-Sawyer, with whom she discussed issues of bilateral interest.

The occasion was propitious to address issues of common interest and the international situation. The worldwide condemnation of the U.S. blockade of Cuba and the unquestionable work of the Cuban medical brigades in different countries of the world were also among the topics exchanged between the two diplomats.

The meeting highlighted the interest of both parties in strengthening ties between the two nations.
