Cuban Head of Mission holds exchange with Executive Director of the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Presidential Center.

Monrovia, September 10, 2021 - Cuban Head of Mission in Liberia Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera held a pleasant meeting with Dr. Ophelia Inez Weeks, Executive Director and Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Presidential Center for Women and Development.

Dr. Weeks has extensive experience and brings to the Center nearly forty years of university research, teaching, administration, mentoring, advocacy for women and girls and participation in development activities. She subscribes to the importance of teamwork. Overseeing the Center's administration, programs and strategic plan, she leads the EJS Center team and implements the Center's mission and vision.
