Cuban Head of Mission invited to the “Orange Community Festival”.

Monrovia, December 9, 2024.- As part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence, an annual global initiative that runs from November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to December 10 (International Human Rights Day), Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera was invited to the "Orange Community Festival", an event held to raise awareness, foster community engagement and mobilize collective action to eliminate gender-based violence.

The event brought together government officials, development partners, civil society and community members to reflect on progress and reaffirm commitments towards gender equality and the eradication of gender-based violence.
