Cuban Head of Mission in Liberia holds exchange with her South African counterpart.

Monrovia, March 3, 2022 - The Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera held a pleasant and fraternal exchange with her South African counterpart Karobo Letlaka at the headquarters of this Embassy in Monrovia.

The South African diplomat thanked Cuba for its help to his country in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and highlighted the excellent training of Cuban doctors. The close friendship between Fidel and Mandela was a theme that was also present throughout a meeting characterized by the brotherhood that unites our peoples.

For her part, the diplomat Martinez Herrera gave an update on the Cuban reality and the work of Cuban collaboration in the field of health.
