Monrovia, May 27, 2024 - Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera held a fruitful working meeting with the Honorable Laraamand Shenkin Nyonton, Deputy Minister for Technical and Vocational Education and Training of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Liberia.
The meeting was aimed at identifying areas of interest to develop bilateral cooperation in the field of youth and sports.
For his part, the Liberian deputy minister thanked Cuba for its support during the fight against Ebola in his country, as well as in the training of human resources. At the same time, he acknowledged Cuba's achievements in sports and expressed the interest of the African nation in strengthening and further advancing bilateral collaboration relations, particularly in this area.
