Cuban head of mission participates in virtual meeting on current situation in Liberia.

Monrovia, April 28, 2021 - The meeting on the current situation in the Republic of Liberia was held virtually from the Kofi Anan Conference Room at the UN headquarters in Monrovia.

Representing Cuba was the head of mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera, who together with other members of the diplomatic corps accredited in the African country attended the dissertation of Liberian personalities who addressed issues of interest to the international community.

Among the topics that stood out the most were the vaccination campaign against COVID-19 and the violent acts that were taking place in the West African country.
