Declaration of the Brigade of Cuban Health Collaborators in Dominica

Roseau October 18, 2019

The members of the Brigade of Cuban Health Collaborators in Dominica denounce strongly the defamatory campaign that has been carried out abroad through some sites in social networks and foreign press, against the work done by the cuban collaborators of this worldwide sector.

The members of the Brigade of Health Collaborators of Cuba in Dominica join the rejection of this campaign expressed by our colleagues in other countries of the world and reaffirm the values that characterize our formation to serve the brother people of the Commonwealth of Dominica. We will continue to contribute to improving health indicators, achieving satisfaction in services and doing every day what we do best: give health and high humanism, professionalism, sensitivity and quality in our care.

For almost 6 decades, Cuban health professionals have provided their services in all regions of the world. No defamatory campaign will stop us from continuing to provide our primary and secondary assistance services to the most distant corners of this Caribbean island, where every day we receive the best payment we can expect: saved lives, prevented or cured diseases and the gratitude of the population that we attend

We work based on the promotion, prevention and treatment of the most frequent diseases in the country with a high level of acceptance by the population. We actively participate in the process of training and training of national doctors, as part of the teaching process developed by our categorized professionals.

For all the above we express our satisfaction to the government of Dominica for allowing us to fulfill this beautiful task and our commitment to continue performing it for as long as necessary.
