Cuban music makes the delights of the evening in The Netherlands

Cuban music makes the night delights in The Netherlands

The Hague, 12 February 2018. The night of the city of Rotterdam moves to a different rhythm on Saturday 10 February, when the “Fenix Music Factory” was swayed by the rhythm of two outstanding cuban pianists: Ramón Valle and Gustavo Corrales.

The Cuban music, played at four hands, was the star of the show. Emblematic pieces from some of the greatest Cuban authors, such as Lecuona, were interspersed with original pieces by Valle and Corrales. The guests also enjoyed the explanations on each piece and on the characteristics of the traditional rhythms of the island.

Guarachas, sones and congas played at the piano were the highlights of an evening enjoyed by a large audience made up of guests, Cuban aritists living in The Netherlands and members of the diplomatic mission of Cuba in the Netherlands.
