Canberra, March 1, 2021.- The musical show "Havana Return, Por Favor" was presented yesterday for the second time at the Street Theatre in Canberra, after its successful debut in the Australian capital in 2019.
Among the members of the Caribé band, led by the saxophonist Gai Bryant, the presence of two resident Cuban artists stood out. They were in charge of the percussion and the leading of the show respectively.
During the event, pieces of Latin jazz and traditional Cuban rhythms such as cha cha chá, guaguancó and mozambique were performed. The Master of Ceremonies, Adrián Medina, introduced the public to the Cuban folk traditions associated with the deities of the Yoruba pantheon, on a stage set with images of Cuba and illuminated with the colours of the Cuban flag.
The group from the Cuban Embassy attended the presentation and exchanged with the musicians thanking them for masterfully representing the values of the national Cuban culture in Australia.
