Cuban residents in Australia celebrate National Culture Day

Canberra, October 20, 2020.- A group of Cuban artists residing in several states of Australia, joined in an audiovisual project along with the Embassy of Cuba to celebrate the Day of Cuban Culture.

Ballet and popular rhythms dancers, as well as musicians and scholars of the Afro-Cuban religion, tell us from their individual experiences how they have contributed to promoting Cuban culture in this distant country through their artistic work, and to keep alive the sense of  Cuban identity from its authenticity and the unshakable attachment to its roots.

The material highlights the presentation of the Cuban Association of Cultural Heritage and Roots, the first organization of its kind founded in Australia by Cuban residents to promote Cuba, its culture and sports.
