Accra, March 9, 2024- T-Havana Parks, once again, was the venue for the celebration of Cubans living in Ghana, on this date with of special significance, International Women's Day.
Amidst music and Cuban food, they took advantage of the important date to pay homage to the women and spend a pleasant afternoon among fellow Cubans.
The President of the Association of Cubans Residing in Ghana "Cuba Nuestra", Beatriz Roll Bermudez, called on Cubans living in the African country to unite and not to lose Cuban customs, even when they are thousands of kilometres away from our beloved island.
The participants stressed the importance of continuing to fight for women's rights and to develop new forms of cooperation among the Cuban resident community.
