Accra, July 26, 2023: "That daybreak of July 26th stepped into history; the Apostle did not die, the youthful Generación Del Centenario (Generation of the Centennial) was responsible, with its deeds, for vindicating his thoughts."
With this remark, the State Mission of the Republic of Cuba in Ghana began the celebration of the National Rebellion Day, on its 70th anniversary. Present for the occasion, was the staff of the medical mission in the Accra region and the workers of the embassy.
The keynote address was given by the Second Secretary of the Embassy, Yamil Eduardo Martínez Marrero, who denounced the most recent campaigns, discrediting maneuvers and provocations of the U.S. government against Cuba, and at the same time, on behalf of all the participants, he emphasized the commitment to the Revolution, from our stage.
The commemoration ceremony for the assault to the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks also included with the recitation of the poem "Era la mañana de la Santa Ana" by Jesús Orta Ruiz, our Indio Naborí, in the voices of Ivette Mirabal Amador and Eduardo Hormachea Gutiérrez, accountant of the embassy and member of the medical mission of Cuba in Ghana, respectively.
