Cuban transport minister visits Iran

Tehran, Apr 24 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Transport Minister Eduardo Rodríguez Dávila arrived in Tehran, the capital of Iran, on Wednesday, in response to an official invitation Industry, Mine and Trade Minister Abbas Aliabadi, diplomatic sources informed.

Rodríguez Dávila was received by Deputy Industry, Mine and Trade Minister Farshad Moghimi after arriving at the Imam Khomeini International Airport.

During his stay in Iran, the Cuban minister will meet with local officials to discuss issues related to the recovery of different transportation branches in Cuba.

He stated that from April 27 to May 1, he will attend the 6th International Fair, Iran Expo 2024, where entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and other stockholders will exhibit their commercial products, services, and technologies.

As part of the friendly relations between the two countries, Cuban and Iranian authorities signed seven cooperation instruments in December 2023 to strengthen ties in the economic, health, and scientific-technical sectors, among other areas.
