Cuban Vice President says good bye to Mugabe with emotional message

Cuban Vice President Inés María Chapman spoke this afternoon at the farewell tribute held at the Harare National Stadium to the recently deceased leader Robert Mugabe. In her speech, the vice president recalled the friendship between Mugabe and Fidel Castro, and the brotherhood between the people of Cuba and Zimbabwe. She also mentioned the support provided by the African nation in the cuban fight against the blockade, and how more than 3,000 Zimbabweans have graduated in the caribbean island in the fields of Health and Education from the 80s to date. She also recalled that Mugabe was the 1st African head of state who arrived in Cuba for the funeral farewell of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro in November 2016.
