Port of Spain, 28 October.- In the 56 anniversary of the physical disappearance of the “Hero of Yaguajay”, a broad representation of Cuban health collaborators in Port of Spain and members of the diplomatic mission in Trinidad and Tobago, paid tribute to Camilo Cienfuegos in a small boardwalk of the Trinitarian capital.
Among the participants were Clyde Callender, president of the Association of Solidarity with Cuba in Trinidad and Tobago "Friends of Cuba" and Yamil Martinez Marrero, official of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples
Dr. Yusaima Rodriguez, on behalf of the medical brigade working in Trinitarian land, reminded the events of October 28, 1959 and the role of "Lord of the Vanguard" in the cuban rebel struggle. The brief but moving ceremony included the recitation of an allegorical poem by a small cuban pioneer.
Following the beautiful Cuban tradition in honor of Camilo, flowers were trown into the sea as a sign of affection and admiration for this great Cuban.
