Cuba's Minister of Tourism completed an intense working program in Toronto.

The Cuban Minister of Tourism, Juan Carlos García Granda, completed an intense working visit to Toronto that included meetings with travel agencies, journalists and members of the consulate. In all the meetings, the interest in boosting the Cuban tourist market and the commitment to expand its quality and diversity prevailed.

As part of the program, meetings were held with the CEOs of Jetlines, SWOOP and Air Canada Vacations, in which they expressed their interest in Cuba and its growth potential. Meetings were also held with the CEOs of companies and suppliers of the tourism sector. At the end of his visit, the Minister provided an update of the Cuba destination to the main media outlets related to the tourism industry. 

The Cuban delegation also consisted of the Cuban Ambassador to Canada, Héctor Igarza; Pilar Álvarez, Marketing Director of the Ministry of Tourism; the Consul General in Toronto, Yanier Castellanos Orta and Lessner Gómez, Tourism Counselor.
