Ottawa, June 8, 2022: - In the presence of the Minister of Tourism Juan Carlos García Granda, the presentation of the Única advertising campaign was held in front of Montreal's main tour operators and travel agencies that work with the Cuba destination. The event was attended by Cuban officials accompanying the Minister on his visit and the specialized tourism media.
The occasion was an opportunity to highlight the attractions of Cuba, which consolidate it as a unique country by the combination of its culture and nature. In addition, the Cuban Minister highlighted the results achieved in health and biotechnological studies, which highlight our country as one of the safest destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean; an example of this is the extensive vaccination campaign against COVID-19, achieving the development of five vaccine candidates, with more than 90% of the Cuban population with the complete vaccination schedule.
