A day devoted to Cuba at lyceum in Copenhagen

A journey on Cuba was held at lyceum in Copenhagen

A day devoted to Cuba was held at Lycée Prins Henriks Skole in Copenhagen on 6 March. In the framework of this journey the Cuban Consul in Denmark Ares Valdés Acea gave two lectures where he addressed the role of young people in the Cuban Revolution, the impact of the blockade on the Cuban economy and the approval of the new Constitution of the country among other issues of actuality, which led to an exchange with the students about the Cuban reality.

The journey was attended by students from different levels of education, teachers and directors of the institution. For the occasion, the educational center was adorned with Cuban flags and Cuban posters that showed historical and artistic characters and various cities of the Island. The activities carried out in that context allowed an approach to the Cuban history and culture. There was also a Cuban dance demonstration class organized by teachers of this school.
