On his part, the Deputy Prime Minister recalled, with satisfaction, his two visits to Cuba. The first visit in 2011 as Assistant Minister for Pacific Affairs and the second one in 2017 on a tourist trip with his family, which allowed him to get to closely know our country and its people, as well as the potential that both countries have to expand ties, especially triangular cooperation in areas of benefit for the Pacific Islands.
