The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis receives the Ambassador of Cuba
Basseterre, September 2, 2022: The new Deputy Prime Minister of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, the Honorable Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, who also serves as Minister of Education, Youth, Social Development, Gender Affairs, Aging and Disabilities, received in his offices this Friday morning, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, David Rivero Pérez, who paid him a courtesy visit after his recent appointment.
During the cordial meeting, after the congratulations offered by the Cuban diplomat, were reviewed issues on the bilateral agenda, revealing the mutual interest in strengthening existing ties, with new proposals for potential collaboration projects.
Dr. Hanley ratified the invariable position of his government in support of Cuba and against the unjust blockade imposed by the United States.
