Embassy of Cuba carries out friendly activity and welcomes the new ambassador of Mexico in Nigeria.

Nigeria, June 10, 2022.- At the headquarters of the residence of the Cuban ambassador to Nigeria, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, a friendly activity was held today to welcome the Mexican ambassador to this country, Alfredo Miranda, and the his wife.

Present at the activity were Senator Adamu Muhammad Bulkachuwa, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, the Honorable Prince Akiolu Moshood Kayode, Chairman of the Nigeria-Cuba Friendship Group in the House of Representatives, Ambassador Mustapha Tunde Mukaila, Regional Director of the Nigerian Foreign Ministry, Mr. Otunba Olusegun, President of the Arts and Culture Council, representatives of the accredited diplomatic corps in the country, of the solidarity movement with Cuba and friends of Cuba in general.

The moment was propitious to address issues of common interest, exchange and strengthen the bonds of friendship and collaboration among those present. Moment of high connotation were the words of welcome offered by the Cuban ambassador to her Mexican counterpart, where she highlighted the historical and friendship ties that unite the two countries and thanked the position of fairness and support for Cuba of the current president of Mexico.

Similarly, the diplomatic ambassador thanked the warm welcome and ratified the interest in continuing to harvest diplomatic relations, friendship and collaboration.
