The Embassy of Cuba to the Cooperative Republic of Guyana commemorates the 134th Anniversary of the death in combat of José Martí

Georgetown, May 17, 2019. "Politician, writer, journalist, philosopher, and poet, with deep thought of the realities of his time, the foresight of the future, defender of justice, solidarity and the emancipation of peoples."

With these words, José Martí was remembered, at the Cuban Embassy in Guyana, on the occasion of the 134th anniversary of his death in combat.

The event was attended by a group of Cuban collaborators from the health sector and members of the Diplomatic Mission in this country, which culminated with a floral offering on his bust, in honor of such an outstanding patriot.
