Embassy of Cuba in Nigeria develops day in commemoration of the Day of National Rebellion.

Nigeria, July 23th, 2023.- With a group of activities, the commemoration day began at the Cuban Embassy in Nigeria for the Day of National Rebellion, where the support of all its collective and friends for the Cuban Revolution was once again patented.

This Sunday, July 23, the group of the Cuban Diplomatic Mission in Abuja -Cubans and Nigerians- developed a day of voluntary work in salute to the 70th anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks, an action carried out by a group of young people, led by Fidel Castro, on July 26, 1953, in the provinces of Santiago de Cuba and Bayamo, respectively.

With the revolutionary triumph, in 1959, the Cuban people celebrate every July 26, thus demonstrating their support for the Revolution and for that generation that gave everything, even their own lives, to achieve freedom and real independence for their people.

The voluntary work was aimed at beautifying different places of the diplomatic mission with a view to the act scheduled to take place on that important day.
