Embassy of Cuba in South Africa commemorates the 128th anniversary of the death of José Martí

Pretoria, May 19, 2023.- The Cuban Embassy in South Africa paid tribute to the National Hero of Cuba, José Martí, on the 128th anniversary of his death, in an emotional political-cultural act.

All the officials and workers of the diplomatic mission participated, as well as members of the collaboration brigades that operate in the country.

The main words were given by the head of the hydraulic technicians brigade, Lázaro González, who highlighted the importance of always honoring Martí by defending the principles of patriotism, anti-imperialism and social justice that he bequeathed to us. The engineer also addressed some little-known facts about the Apostle's death.
