On a visit to Cincinnati, Ohio, from June 27th to 29th, the Third Secretary of the Embassy of Cuba in Washington DC, Sulia Paez Chacón attended the Annual Convention of the National Association of Newspaper Publishers (NNPA), where she exchanged with members of the leadership of this organization and she learned about the work that its publishers do. Within the framework of this event, the official attended presentations made by communicators, corporations linked to the NNPA as well as local and federal politicians. She could also realize the high esteem of its president, Dr. Benjamin F. Chavis and the members of this organization towards Cuba.
During her stay in Cincinnati, the diplomat also held a meeting with representatives of different companies located in this city, who expressed their interest in knowing about Cuba. As part of this encounter, the official exchanged with them about the current state of bilateral relations between Cuba and the U.S., as well as the business opportunities that exist between both countries.
