Indonesia, December 4, 2016. His Excellency Mr. Fadli Zon, Vice-President of the Indonesian House of Representatives, will visit Cuba on a working visit to hold meetings with officials of the National Assembly of People's Power and other institutions in our country.
Fadli Zon, who heads a delegation of this Indonesian legislative body, will carry out an intense agenda that will run until the 7th of this month. The Vice-President, who visited the Cuban Embassy in Jakarta last week to sign the Book of Condolences on the passing away of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, expressed to Ambassador Nirsia Castro Guevara his interest in visiting Cuba to strengthen the relations between both countries and to pay posthumous tribute to the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz who was according to his words "... a great leader not only for Cuba but also for the countries of the third world. His close relationship with Indonesia in the early 1960s has been as important as capital to strengthen the bilateral relationship..."
