Fruitful exchange between Cuban Ambassador Rodrigo Malmierca and Carleton University

Ottawa, April 16. - The Cuban Ambassador to Canada, Rodrigo Malmierca had a cordial meeting with Betina Appel Kuzmarov, Associate Vice-President of the Office of International Relations of Carleton University.

During the meeting, they exchanged on the academic ties that have united Cuba and Carleton University for more than 30 years, as well as the areas of common interest in which projects have been carried out.
They also discussed the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the University of Havana and the University of Carleton, signed in February 2020, to expand collaborative relations between the two centers of higher learning.
The visit was propitious to explore spaces for academic exchange, as well as to continue consolidating ties between the University of Carleton and Cuba.
