Nigeria, August 11st, 2023. Nigerian graduates in Cuba participate in an online event organized by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) to commemorate the 97th anniversary of the birth of the Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz.
In representation of all the Nigerian graduates, the doctors of medicine, Adies Patrick and Onuche Audu, who today continue to contribute to their people with the knowledge acquired to raise the health indices of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which demonstrates that the legacy of Fidel goes beyond the borders of Cuba and reaches the hearts of our brothers from Africa.
The doctors agreed to highlight the example of Fidel, as a man, as a revolutionary, as a leader and as a Cuban of universal stature and thanked the eternal Commander and the people of Cuba for the possibility of having studied on the island and making it possible to practice his profession today with pride. Nigerian graduates in Cuba exceed 200, the predominant specialty is medicine, but there are also computer scientists, cybernetic mathematicians, veterinarians, physical culture, agronomy, among others.
Graduates in Cuba from all over Africa and representatives of the different educational institutions in Cuba, ICAP and MINREX participated in the event, mainly represented by their ambassadors in African lands. A large group of African graduates in Cuba converged in the online event, representing their countries and highlighting that they are the fruit and proof of the wonderful relations of friendship and solidarity between Cuba and the African continent.
Our Commander in Chief, Fidel, taught us to love Africa, give it everything, even life. So much love and commitment is complemented today when a large group of young African graduates in Cuba raise their voices to speak about Fidel and commemorate the 97th anniversary of his birth. #FidelPresenteAmong Us.
