India ratifies desire of its Government to strengthen bilateral relations with Cuba.

India, February 22, 2016. The Joint Secretary of Latin America and Caribbean Division at the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Mr. Ashok Das, received the Cuban ambassador in this country Oscar I. Martinez Cordovés.

During the cordial meeting, both diplomats assessed the issues and areas where there are opportunities to move forward the ties of cooperation for the development of bilateral relations.

Mr. Das ratified the willingness of his country to continue strengthening the links with Cuba and reiterated his intention to channelise and support initiatives that contribute to the expanding of bilateral and multilateral relations. (Cubaminrex- Embacuba India).
