Interchange with CS Sports Kenya

Nairobi, July 29, 2023- The Chargé d'affairs a.i of the Cuban Embassy in Nairobi, Edisleydi Curbelo Garcia, attended the inaugural Cabinet Secretary Champion's Reception to celebrate and reward the widest spectrum of Kenya's leading sporting and creative talents. This space brought together 1000 sportsmen and women, as well as creatives, including Kenya's most decorated living leyends. 

During the brief exchange with the Cabinet Secretary of Youth Affairs, the Arts & Sports, Hon. Ababu Namwamba, who hosted the reception, the CS recalled his recent visit to Havana in the frame of the meeting of Ministers of Culture of G77+China, and also both sides commended the excellent progress achieved between Cuba and Kenya in the field of sports.
