Irish Solidarity commemorates the 68th anniversary of the Moncada deed in various cities.

Dublin, July 25, 2021. The Irish solidarity movement with Cuba commemorates with various activities to be held in various cities from north to south in Ireland, the 68th anniversary of the Moncada historical feat deed led by Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz and that marks the beginning of the Cuban Revolution.

This was an occasion to ratify the firm solidarity with the Cuban Revolution in the face of the rude propaganda campaign unleashed since last July 11, orchestrated and financed by the United States government, which has had the complicity of governments and European political forces. as well as the mainstream media and the contamination of social networks.

The global demand has also been ratified to end the criminal economic blockade imposed by the United States government against the Cuban people for more than 60 years and intensified during the pandemic.

The commemoration, which will run until July 27, has been organized by the Ireland-Cuba Solidarity Forum, the Communist Party of Ireland, Sinn Fein, the Workers' Party, the Cuban Support Group of Ireland, organizations unions, the Peadar O'Donnell Socialist Republican Forum, among others, and has had emblematic venues in more than a dozen cities such as Dublin, Cork, Donegal, Belfast, Derry, Armagh and others. In unison it was heard in all the cities named "No More Blockade", "Cuba is not alone", "Let Cuba live in peace", among other slogans.

Resident Cuban compatriots also participated in these demonstrations.
