The Liberia-Cuba Solidarity Group accompanies the Caribbean country after the effects of hurricane Ian.

Monrovia, September 27, 2022.- The Liberia-Cuba Solidarity Group accompanies the Caribbean country after the effects of hurricane Ian, which hit the western region, particularly the province of Pinar del Rio.

Several members of the solidarity group studied and graduated at the University of that western Cuban province, and currently two Liberian 6th year medical students are doing their internships in hospitals in that province.

"Pinar del Rio will recover, the people of Pinar del Rio have an incalculable strength and will of steel", say those who studied in that province and left part of their heart in the westernmost region of the country.
