Liberian journal echoes Cuban Foreign Minister's Press Conference on the Impact of the US Blockade against Cuba during the last year.

Monrovia, October 25, 2020 - The Liberian diary "Liberia News" publishes an article entitled "US trade embargo causes 144 billion USD in losses for Cuban economy", which is based on the recent Press Conference given by Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla on the impact of the blockade against Cuba.

It faithfully reproduces the intervention of the Cuban Foreign Minister and sets forth his denunciations and condemnations of this act of genocide and economic war that causes great suffering to the Cuban people and seeks to strangle the national economy, impacting everyone.

The article concludes by stating that as a result of the sanctions, it costs Cuba about 2 billion dollars a year to import food, more than twice the real price. It also points out that between April 2019 and March 2020, the blockade caused record economic losses of $5.57 billion.
