Monrovia, October 1, 2020 - In its digital edition, the Liberia News reproduces paragraphs from the MINREX Declaration "The United States appreciates its campaign against Cuba's international medical cooperation".
Among them, it stands out that the ministry denounced a spurious and lying evaluation that is being prepared by and for the aggressive purposes of the United States in its eagerness to discredit Cuba's international cooperation.
He also stressed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that PAHO has been forced to accept an external review of the agency's role in the "More Doctors" program in Brazil under the threat that the United States would withdraw significant financial support from it.
He stressed that the alleged U.S. concerns about Cuba's cooperation, in this case in the "More Doctors" program, are not legitimate and that since 1964, more than 400,000 Cuban health workers have served in 164 countries.
