The Manifest Newspaper Demands the End of the U.S. Blockade against Cuba.

The Hague, Netherlands, September 21, 2016. The Manifest newspaper, the official organ of the New Communist Party of the Netherlands (NCPN), demands the end of the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the U.S. against Cuba, as part of the world campaign held every year to demand the end of this unilateral system of sanctions.

In its September issue, The Manifest denounces the contradictory foreign policy of Washington towards the Island, in which they say to take steps towards the normalization of relations while increasing sanctions such as the uninterrupted financial prosecution.
On October 27, the Cuban resolution against the blockade will be presented again to the General Assembly of the United Nations. In October last year, 191 state members of the UN expressed their rejection towards this inhumane policy, making it the 24th consecutive time the international organization supports the Cuban Resolution demanding the end of the longest genocide in history.
