Kuala Lumpur, November 22nd - The Secretary General of the Malaysian-Chinese Association (MCA) party and Minister II of Industry and Commerce, Datuk Seri Ong KaChuan, received the courtesy call of the Ambassador of Cuba to Malaysia, Ibete Fernandez.
During the meeting the parties addressed the challenges and tasks of the Cuban communist party and the MCA as well as the possibilities that exist to establish a framework of cooperation between the two. They exchange information on the VII PCC Congress that took place in April, 2016 and on the 63rd annual general meeting of the MCA celebrated last November 13.
The MCA is the second political force of BarisanNasional, the coalition of parties that Malaysian government and is represented in all states that make up Malaysia, with the exception of Sarawak.
