MEETING OF THE CUBAN AMBASSADOR WITH ACTING MINISTER OF FOREING AFFAIRS

The Cuban Ambassador, Dr. Indira López Argüelles, held a courtesy interview with Minister A.I. of Foreign Affairs, Honorable Mr. Cllr. Jeddi Mowbray Armah, who is in charge of Legal Affairs at the Liberian Foreign Ministry.

The Hon. Mr. Armah, thanked the support of Cuban doctors during Ebola and the granting by Cuba of scholarships to this African nation. He reiterated the interest in expanding bilateral cooperation in various fields, revitalizing the traditional exchanges that both nations maintained in the pre-war period.

The Ambassador thanked Liberia for its support in condemning the unjust blockade against Cuba, and reiterated the Cuban government's willingness to cooperate on a mutually beneficial basis.
