Guyana, April 7th, 2018. A meeting was held with the Cuban community at the Cuban Embassy in Guyana with the aim of presenting the new Ambassador and the Counselor, taking stock in the work done and coordinating new actions.
The coordinator of the Association of Cuban Residents, Manuel Antonio Pérez Martínez, presented a multimedia with the results of the Association in 2017. He took the opportunity to show images of the Meeting of Cubans held in Panama in October, an event that was attended by a delegate from Guyana. As part of the activity, those Cubans who made it possible to attend the meeting in Panama were stimulated.
The Ambassador exhorted to remain linked with the Embassy not only when they carry out a consular procedure but also at all times when they require support, need information or are invited to activities. He emphasized the importance of the Cuban community to remain united, to defend the homeland and to transmit the Cuban culture and values that identify us as a nation.
