Meeting with Dublin Lord Mayor

Ireland, August 29, 2017. Ambassador Hermes Herrera hosted a dinner last night in honor of the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Mícheál Mac Donncha.

The meeting discussed the collaboration between the Lord Mayor and the Embassy and the continuity of the support offered by this institution to cultural and diplomatic activities of the Cuban Mission.

The Ambassador updated information on the brutal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed unilaterally and arbitrarily by the United States against Cuba for over half a century, the claim of our country from part of our territory occupied by the illegal Guantánamo naval base and the need for Continue the actions of solidarity with Cuba.
