Meeting of Latin American Ambassadors with the Parliamentary Friendship Group.

Wellington, July 6. The Speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon Trevor Mallard, offered a dinner to the accredited Latin American Ambassadors, in the company of the members of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with our region.

In a friendly atmosphere, we had the opportunity to exchange with the co-chairs, Ricardo Menéndez and Angela Roberts, as well as with other members of the group, about the situation in our countries and our interest in strengthening ties with New Zealand.

The Cuban Ambassador highlighted the good state of bilateral relations and updated those present on the US policy towards Cuba and its impact on all areas of the country's life.
