At the headquarters of the Marxist-Leninist Communist Party of Canada in the city of Toronto, representatives of that organization held a meeting with members of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Canada.
The meeting was attended by Philip Fernandez, representative of the Party in the city of Toronto, and by the Deputy Head of Mission, Dany Tur, and the Consul General in Toronto, Jorge Yanier Castellanos, on the Cuban side.
During the discussion, Philip Fernández offered a broad explanation about the work of that organization and ratified the will to continue supporting the people and government of Cuba. In addition, he highlighted the joint work they carry out with the different associations of solidarity with Cuba, and their participation in the activities organized by the Consulate General in Toronto.
As for the Deputy Head of Mission, he thanked the Party for its support and solidarity, and reiterated the willingness to continue strengthening ties with this organization.
