During the visit to Toronto of the Minister of Tourism of Cuba, Juan Carlos García Granda, an excellent meeting was held with members of the Juan Gualberto Gómez Association of Cubans (ACJGG). The Minister was joined by the Cuban Ambassador to Canada, Héctor Igarza Cabrera; the General Consul in Toronto, Jorge Yanier Castellanos Orta; the new commercial director of MINTUR, Gihana Galindo Enriquez and the Tourism Counselor in Toronto, Lessner Gómez Molina.
The new #CubaUnica campaign was presented and a fruitful exchange was held on the possibilities for Cubans living abroad to actively participate in tourism promotion and potential investments in this important sector.
The Minister thanked the Juan Gualberto for its commitment to our people, shown in its timely donations and its active participation in condemning the blockade, in addition to the warm welcome.
On the other hand, Julio Fonseca, president of the Association, asked the Minister to convey to the highest leadership of the Cuban government the commitment of the members of the ACJGG to our homeland and their willingness to support all the necessary projects and sectors.
The moment was also propitious for the General Consul to recognize the worthy and committed work of all the members of the ACJGG during these 15 years of uninterrupted work in the construction of a better future for our people.
