On Thursday, January 19, the Minister of Finance of Nigeria, Kemi Adeosun, received the Cuban Ambassador, Carlos Trejo Sosa, at the headquarters of the institution. The meeting took place in a friendly ambience, in keeping with the relationship between two countries.
Ambassador Trejo offered an update on the Cuban economy and the opportunities that our country has in different sectors, from which bilateral collaboration could be established, especially at health and education.
The Minister expressed her condolences on the death of Cuban Revolution Leader Fidel Castro Ruz and said her willingness to analyze business opportunities with Cuba.
The meeting was also attended by officials from the country's Ministry of Finance and the Second Secretary of the Cuban Embassy, Leydis Bernal Suárez.
