Nigeria, January 5, 2023.- The Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs of The Federal Republic of Nigeria, Geoffrey Onyeama, received in audience the Ambassador of Cuba in that country, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, at the headquarters of the Nigerian Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting, the Cuban diplomat conveyed to the Nigerian Minister a message from his Cuban counterpart, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, where he thanked the Nigerian government for its support for the Cuban Resolution against the blockade, presented at the United Nations at the end of the year.
The meeting was also opportune for both diplomats to address issues of common interest. The exchange took place in a cordial atmosphere, reflecting the good relations between the two countries, intended to continue deepening them in accordance with the existing perspectives.
The Nigerian Foreign Minister was accompanied by the Director for the Americas and the Caribbean of this ministry, Ambassador Jane Adams, as well as other officials.
The counselor of the Cuban diplomatic mission, Pavel Bauzá, also participated on the Cuban side.
